In this post, TWIR writers contend that Michelle Malkin has no place to comment on the corruption of the Obama administration in her new book because ". . .she spent six months writing her latest book about corruption in the Obama Administration. Six whole months! From the perspective of an academic, whether we agree or disagree with the "findings," it is quite suspect to rely on any evidence so hastily put together and screened only for its ability to make money (rather than any external intellectual standards)."
Considering the Obama administration is only eight months into its work, Malkin has spent 75% of the administration's longeveity citing examples of its corruption! Does the fact that it only took her six months out of an eight month tenure to complete an entire book (about an administration's corruption) alarm anyone?? Intellectual standards aside, there is quite enough information in this blog that you are reading now to warrant a "What the %@#&!!"
I read TWIR on a regular basis; and I often find its content compelling and important. However, when the writers submit assertions such as these, it solidifies an impression that to attack Obama on the merits of his administration is inherently racist. This is a dismal distraction from what the writers of TWIR contest is their purpose for having the blog in the first place. Their purpose is a noble and significant one. I only wish they were more politically objective--and by "objective", I mean not allowing their personal opinions to undermine the facts.
